Celebrating ten years of revitalising house music, Cherry Drop Records gear up to release their freshly compiled Decade collection – offering 30 of the best house tracks from their label’s history.
Featuring some classic older tracks from artists such as Josh Feedblack, Vinyl Crew, Phunk Investigation and Stanny Abram, the project also introduces some new exclusives from the likes of a fast-rising Uch, DJ Rooster, and Nu Sky.
DJ Uch is an NYC-based producer and DJ who is rightfully gathering impressive momentum on the scene thanks to his track Genius Of House. His original mix of Treat You Right features on the new Decade compilation, suiting the eclectic and engaging energy of the project beautifully and introducing another impressive layer to his ever-expanding catalogue.
Decade brings through a plethora of both nostalgic and creatively fresh mixes across its extensive playlist, including the brand new single from Benny Camaro – I Want To Change – and some hits from bigger name artists like Tocadisco, Benny Benassi, Ben Delay and Gibbs.
From heavy beats to addictive grooves and soulful vocal samples, the compilation celebrates underground vibes and the recent history of Cherry Drop House in a timeless fashion.
Also including two continuous mixes for a longer lasting hit of escapism – Miami Poolside Mix, light and easy to let play, and Bushwick Bunker Mix – a darker, deeper, Techno influenced mix. Take home the project just in time for summer – Decade releases on June 1st.
