The intrigue of a mystical title fiercely elevated by a euphoric and timeless dance-pop crossover crescendo. KOMBY DOT IO delivers an anthemic summer dance anthem and story of sentimental truth, value and depth, with KOMBY KOMBY and indeed the full accompanying album Pattern.
Bridging the gaps between Paris Kitchens and London Lights, this unique lyrical journey is presented by sweeping synths and pulsating dance rhythms, with a bold and bright female vocal adding a nineties EDM aura and a brilliantly catchy hook to the vibrancy and charm of KOMBY KOMBY.
Even without knowing the meaning of these words or names, the hook resounds and echoes through the space, in a manner that quickly leaves it lingering in your mind. You become consumed by this mysterious celebration and moment, it’s energising and addictive, and Komby Dot Io’s production, from the piano and intimacy to the full-throttle EDM drops, is both skilful and impassioned.
