This has been a truly great week for discovering quality, quality tunes.
Another absolute beast of a single, from the UK’s own King Casual – Get Up / Get Down really is as uplifting and energizing as the title implies.
Taking on the creative freedom of bands like Will and The People, throwing in some impressive and fast-paced musicianship – along with a dash of colour and an addictively clear love for the process – King Casual are a band that grab attention for all the right reasons.
This is a superb new song, perfectly designed to keep those summer vibes alive and kicking long after the sun has turned his back on us. Great songwriting is so often the missing link with new bands, but in this case – I’m immensely excited to hear more from these guys; and to catch a live show.
