Standing the test of time with their clear conviction and unity as a creative group, The John Spignesi Band are celebrating an impressive nine years of making music together, and are marking the occasion with two unmissable live shows in Connecticut.
Known across the indie realm for their unique fusion of genres from rock to reggae and pop, John Spignesi and his band have been gracing stages for a long time now, and have mastered the space in the process. Their balancing of harmonies, riffs, grooves and intentions makes for a timelessly listenable repertoire, and with another brand new album in the pipeline and a huge celebration this very month, now seems like the perfect time for fresh ears to tune in.
Performing at Banford, CT’s Stony Creek Brewery on Friday, May 31st, and later at Simsbury’s Hoops N’ Hops, June 1st, the John Spignesi Band will kick off the summer for music fans across the board, entertaining you with their fine fusion of slick guitar-play, vocals, and a clear ability to bring both passion and precision to the stage. Both venues mean a lot to the band and to John Spignesi, so the energy and engagement will be unmatched.
Also to look out for this year – the John Spignesi Band’s seventh studio album has been in the making for over a year; the longest time the band have ever spent on a project. Scott Murawski (Max Creek/Mike Gordon) is producing it (also a first for a grass roots band who’ve never before hired a producer).
Then to keep things moving, 2024 will promise an extensive summer tour, and plenty of new clips and singles to stream to your heart’s content.
Don’t miss out – support the bands that make our weekends memorable, and who put in the work and keep things fun every step of the way.
