Showcasing a strong grasp of musical appeal in the layering of bass, guitars and drums, the song follows a melody that feels a tad reminiscent of RHCP just briefly, but ultimately goes on to weave a kind of gritty to mellow wave of poetic contemplation.
It’s a song that naturally stood out on first listen, not least of all for this repeating and resounding ‘Just take me away’. Add in the guitar solo, humble but soulfully effective afterwards, and Innocent Harmony is naturally a winner of an indie rock song.
