Stylishly blending the anthemic passion of hip hop, with glitch and dubstep rhythms united under an almost game-show-like presence of synths, Prolific is a recent single from Jack Taylor Productions, and boldly ignites a sense of empowerment and floor-filler readiness all at once. The style is gritty and fast-paced, high-octane but with electronically produced female vocals driving the front-line for that melodic and lyrical guidance.
Another fine example of this approach is the perhaps more infectious and inescapable grip of Game Changer. A huge single, fine production, lashings of weight and detail meeting with a catchy fluidity of voice that’s naturally hypnotic. Here we feel the true power and escapism of the electronic subgenre with a clever balancing of rave culture and mainstream earworm appeal.

The imagery again meets the dreamy layers of the music, for an electronic dance realm that’s admittedly addictive – a powerful riff looping and engaging throughout the sub-three-minute mix. Brief but impactful is key, and the music captures a clear sense of emotional longing and gratitude here, which again lights up another side of the Jack Taylor Productions realm.
Most recently, in keeping with the seasonal tides, Jack Taylor Wellness launched the aptly eerie, whispered darkness and relentless bass-beat combo of a haunting Madoween Tea Party. It’s another anthemic floor-filler by design, recognisable and simple yet enjoyable for its theatrical connections to the current time.
This track again utilises the known building blocks of the producer, but still brings through a sense of personality and flair that is the playful, uninhibited freedom of artistic expression. It’s one more reason to delve into the Jack Taylor Wellness collection this year, and to appreciate the attention to groove and detail combined that makes up his sound.
