Shepherd Bridge Armor

-

Artistically intertwining a fearless degree of passionate conviction to the cause, with songwriting that poetically reflects upon a place and setting to really take you somewhere new. Shepherd Bridge whole-heartedly commits to the moment, with the theatrical rise and fall of the acoustic alt-folk gem Armor.

Guided by an expressively distinct and raspy voice, we follow a fairly intense acoustic guitar performance, with subtle hits of rising drama and tribal drums reinforcing the meandering passion of the delivery.

We’re somewhere between the likes of Joshua James and Mumford and Sons, only with a perhaps more fascinating melodic structure – something alternative, not adhering to mainstream standards, but holding close to that artistic inspiration that first bred the song. We even then explode into a whole new genre, the hard-rock latter half enveloping its audience, and lighting up the nuances of the voice and song in a completely different way.

Shepherd Bridge has poured every ounce of soul and purpose into this recording, and the results are compelling.
