Driving with a creatively free structure and set-up, OUTOFTHEPARTY kicks in without an intro, laying bare its hook and classic hip hop aura, before falling back to expose a more minimal and spacious verse section that effectively underlines the broader details of the scene.
Introduces the artist T!m3line with a notably recognisable, cleanly recorded and characterful vocal style, OUTOFTHEPARTY aims high with confidence but keeps things simple style-wise and indeed with its brief two-minute-fifteen lifespan.
Throw in a second verse and voice for dynamic, and the resolve to that hook proves all the more memorable each time it reappears. The soundscape too impresses a little more notably as the track goes on – this haunting downpour of vocal fragments and melody works well, giving the release a definite level of identity that’s easy to pinpoint the second time around.
The whole thing effectively walks the line between the contemporary sound and something a little more artistically unique. It will be interesting to hear where else the music takes T!m3line in the near future.
