The first half is a simple pleasure to let play, hopeful but contemplative, melodically calming; satisfying. Then the latter half, after this mid-section strip-down, is a fully dreamlike, ethereal wave of distant memories and moments.
It’s a gorgeous and refreshingly interesting style to choose, and this backs up the importance of the writing, the composing process – how songs can be all the more effective when the right genre or style is chosen and utilised to underline the intended theme.
