Pidgie - Just Breathe - Stereo Stickman

Pidgie Just Breathe

-

Blending pop-rock qualities with character and alternative appeal, Pidgie leads with emotive intention and a sort of Eels-esque melodic warmth and identity, for Just Breathe.

Freshly released from the full-length album of the same name, Just Breathe proves an increasingly enjoyable indie single as it progresses; and indeed with each revisit.

Consider the simple set-yup, the retro vocal mix, and this easy verse arrangement akin to the likes of Steal My Sunshine. Then as things build, the inspiring undertones shine brightly, and we’re even blessed by a fuller instrumental support; boasting a superb extended guitar solo for added gusto.

Really nicely crafted, timeless and somewhat raw yet multi-layered in its ultimate state, Just Breathe takes no time at all to connect, utilising catchy melodies and riffs as much so as personable, likable organic qualities and tones.

The songwriting is top notch, and as such the song naturally elevates the Pidgie name, and draws quick interest in the remainder of the album.
