Artistically in tribute to their favourite actor, Robert Redford hits with the raw and nostalgic weight of classic, live-recorded metal – blending distortion and striking tones, with sublimely captivating playing from both Shemi and Izhaki.
Their clear unity at the helm is compelling, but also, their independence and individuality as musicians and performers, is completely original throughout. The composition is quite breath-taking. This is a cinematic, theatrical fusion of boldness and intimacy, a recording that feels real and honest, and brilliantly unlike anything else you’re likely to hear this season.
