Summer has arrived, and Joe Settineri has collaborated with producer Eletropoint to offer music fans a beautifully uplifting, self-empowering new anthem; one designed for and dedicated to celebrating the good times and encouraging self-belief.
From a distance, I Believe is a classic dance-pop hit – good vibes pour through straight away, and production-wise everything is crisp and clean and ready to raise the roof. As the song progresses though, there’s plenty of refreshing personality in the writing and indeed the performance, and the song itself quickly becomes more of a conceptual brightness than simply a background track or contender for the EDM playlist.
Joe frame’s his melodies in a fairly unique way, particularly during that pre-chorus – his vocal inflections bring a notable level of character to the delivery; something which will, over time, work increasingly in his favor.
The depth and tone of the voice overall actually adds an unexpected contrast with the lightness of this electronic soundscape. Furthermore – it showcases a brilliantly impressive rise up as those passionate hook moments hit with powerful impact.
Really nice done, a somewhat nostalgic summer track but with more than enough individuality to give it a relevant contemporary edge. Enjoy.
