Lifelong musician and songwriter Jodie Fox has carved out a lasting lane in modern music, noting influence in writing music for TV, and also when performing live – as both a multi-instrumental musician and a Poetry Slam winner for the Florida 2021 competition.
Jodie’s music is skilful yet devotedly intentional, meaning that whatever the mood or story required, the creative can and will find the ideal tools, tones, and melodies to bring that to life.
In the case of her latest project, the genre-blending composer and artist Jodie Fox draws focus to a distinctly eclectic repertoire. The six-track EP that is the Original Score from Girl Boy Girl Boy Girl is both brief and boldly colourful, beginning with the immersive and uplifting Ready, Set, Play, then quickly shifting gears as we’re offered a more intriguing neo-classical burst of energy for Turn Of Events.

After this, subtle cinematic drama ensues for A Winning Hand, before the smoky backstreets of Tempting Fate utilise a whole new instrumental catalogue at the songwriter’s disposal.
Things later peak for an intriguing, playful and mysterious penultimate moment, as Witty Repartee more than lives up to the implications of its name, whilst Back in the Game injects a subtle summertime vibe, with hopeful keys and a classical rhythm naturally lifting the mood for the final curtain call.
Work ethic, talent and passion appear to forever provide the building blocks for an impactful and illustrious career. Despite this being far from the beginning of her journey, this 2025 release from Jodie Fox undoubtedly marks the start of a respectable new chapter.
