Boldly relentless rhythms meet with electronic synth-play and haunting subtleties in the form of warping, panning and vocal fragments. Whispered hints of ideas bring yet another layer to DJ MATEY’s presentation, and all the while this seemingly epic progression employs only three minutes and twenty seconds to hit with impact.
Prior to UNDERGROUND, DJ MATEY showcased his versatility with the likes of PLAY WITH MY MENTAL. Aptly-titled, the track utilized circus-like cascading gamer tones, hip hop vocals and trap rhythms, to effectively shine light on a whole other side of DJ MATEY’s creative roots.
