Leading with emotive yet auto-tuned vocals, BEACH drives with a decidedly relevant production style, but quickly weaves in a heartfelt undertone and clear level of personality in the lyrics, the arrangement, and the voice.
Following the blissfully delicate movement of the soundscape – piano and a simple drum line – the track goes on to bring in a notably memorable, impressive melody. At its peak, the melody descends beautifully through this lyrical ode, calming the room – not unlike like a wave crashing over at sunset. Cozyboy’s voice, too, accompanies this progression with subtle changes from near-falsetto passion to lower tones of breathy intimacy.
Gorgeously crafted, modern yet clearly rooted in the classic soul-pop sound of a simpler time. Cozyboy creates with a certain fearlessness and honesty, and these qualities connect for their original sense of realness and vulnerability.
