Featuring the combined talents of Bry444n and FobmobJojoo, Angels starts off with a certain air of lightness but goes on to weave in plenty of more intense, emotionally compelling references.
The dynamic between the two leading voices works brilliantly, and meanwhile the production continues to weave its addictive and original soundscape around listeners.
The whole thing marches to the beat of its own drum, but with just enough hints of influence and familiarity to authentically connect.
Clever bars, unique sound-design, passion and precision united – Angels stands out for its strength of character, skill and professionalism all at once. Well worth a few spins this summer.
