The track employs tribal-industrial rhythms and whispered vocal repeats, later switching to a melodic rise and fall – complete with a musical call-and-response from a handful of unpredictable instruments.
Somewhat joyful in its use of implied horns and this stomp of a rhythm, Kitty proves as distinct as it is fearlessly committed to its mood and subject matter. However, things completely redirect the listener at the half-way point, sampling an unmistakable piece of world music just briefly – and bringing through a new chapter in the visual story.
