This new version of Brielle Von Hugel’s Stronger is an awesome piece of music that has maintained and in fact dramatically enhanced the impact of the artist’s stunning vocal performance and lyricism.
From the first few seconds that leading vocal strikes with power and passion and draws you right in. The track itself has a great melodic flow and it’s always a pleasure to listen to Brielle’s music as she offers so much truth and so much of herself and her own experiences in her writing, she doesn’t hide behind the music, she embraces it as a creative platform to express something honest and meaningful. Stronger is yet another great song from her and the remix is something else entirely.
The instrumentation and the overall approach taken within the mix on this one brings an intense level of energy and passion that notably adds to the original effect of the song. The build up of it all, the evolution through sounds, the instrumental riffs that come into play between vocals, and of course the one and only B.o.B’s rap verse is as cool and compelling as can be and provides yet another alteration within the soundtrack to truly keep you captivated throughout.
Without question, the track is big – the sound is crisp and full and exciting, and furthermore; nothing at all has been taken away in terms of the original essence of the song. Brielle’s vocals shine brightly throughout, the artist brings a personal style and strength to the stage that’s incomparable. This is the case throughout her musical releases, but this track in particular is on another level. The music is upbeat and uplifting and definitely one to take with you as the summer starts to kick in. Great riffs, great progression, great performances. Awesome work from all involved.
