A great concept to play with, a unique voice at the forefront, and despite the full-band vibrancy, an acoustic guitar is the lifeblood of the arrangement – something intimate, later evolving through a harmonised crescendo of an observation.
It’s an unusual song, but one that’s grounded by satisfying progressions, comforting chords, and siren-later resounding melodies that rise and fall like waves of joy and uncertainty in equal parts.
