Funky basslines and delicate female vocals, catchy songwriting that’s both long-form interesting and snappy when necessary – Wuzy Bambussy capture the essence of indie festival freedom; a live band unconfined by genre or label expectations.
The results are engaging, interesting, and addictive, and Late Libation speaks volumes both as a studio original and on behalf of the live show potential of UK act Wuzy Bambussy.
Something soulful and quirky, intense yet purposeful (and only the former in small doses) – this is a refrehsing indie jam, and I look forward to hearing more from this band. The Ghost & The Rhythm is a full length project well worth checking out this season.
