From the EP of the same name, SOMETIMES I FEEL introduces the melodic and introspective artistry of Sollars in a way that’s both evocative and catchy.
Blending RnB and Hip Hop across a colourful, ethereal production and beat, SOMETIMES I FEEL pours into view with these descending, short lines that are the hook; the beating heart of the track. The arrangement is bouncy, notable bass and trap rhythms backing up this old-school hook that feels fresh and familiar all at once.
Then we get the sentiments in play, this deeply thoughtful sense of self-reflection that’s refreshingly honest. Sollars lays down a level of vulnerability that’s engaging from the outset, and the rap verses that follow take that connection further still.
