The track is well structured, quirky and recognisable by vocal and melody alike, and there’s also a worthy contrast between the distortion and stomp of the groove, and the softer, perhaps more youthful tones of Walter’s voice. And it’s a great voice, performative and mildly theatrical, almost like RnB at some moments, otherwise leaning towards the fluidity of the classic power ballads.
