Eternity Find Me

-

Original music fearlessly blending genres, for an eclectic twelve-track album that’s consistently shifting – Eternity the artist lights up the space with the heavy bass and soul-funk of You Are My Groove, before we head further into the depths of Find Me.

Instantly presenting a kind of organic fusion of electro-infused vocal play and lyrical assistance, with a live-band aura and a clear versatility, we move into the electronic pulse and short lines of No Rules Tonight with seamless energy, and already the programmed poetry of the project takes precedence.

In stark contrast again, Love I Gave takes things back to the simplicity of piano and voice, the personal vulnerability of folk and love-song ballads, maintaining that raw vocal mix for something between nostalgia and modern design.

Other highlights from Eternity’s Find Me include the strong riff and euphoric energy and scenes of Keep It Movin – a catchy and evocative, rather anthemic track, uplifting and increasingly immersive as the passion and production reach a bold crescendo.

Then there’s the album’s title-track, with that voice and dreamy riffs pairing amidst an atmospheric arrangement designed to reinforce the sense of longing that is the album’s concept. We hear fragments of reference to family, being a father, and holding fast to the truth. It’s a celebratory EDM track in many ways, with a softness introducing things for that emotional guidance.

Flipping the script again is Feel Like This, something of a quirky and colourful pop-rock alternative, the hazy mix and voice still threading things together, and a heartfelt degree of optimism at its core. This is followed by the sheer contrast of a piano-led and reflective ballad once more, Falling Again proving one of the album’s most simple and memorable songs.

After this, however, the likes of Dusty Road and Back To You offer a more upbeat take on catchy songwriting, and inject some mild twists of country and folk expression to elevate the Eternity versatility all the more so.
