Pinda Dhanoya Kyrie I (Feat. Caroline Joy Clarke, Soprano)

-

Creative composer Pinda Dhanoya collaborates with Soprano vocalist Caroline Joy Clarke, for the dramatic and powerful new work Kyrie I.

Featuring a live orchestral explosion of energy and sound, Kyrie I spans just one minute in full, but instantly captures attention for its depth and devotion to the moment.

This studio capture of Kyrie I celebrates the incomparable weight and emotion of authentic, real-time music. The unity between instruments and musicians, between performers, allows for a certain fluidity and heart to thread together the chaos and volume of a bold introduction.

The result is a nostalgic and distinct, cinematic piece of music – an immense horn section and subsequently more delicate moment of longer-form melody backing up the increasing passion of Caroline Joy Clarke’s voice. Then we get the return to darker density, for a final third reigniting that movie-esque power and presence before a huge crescendo.

Pinda Dhanoya performed as part of an indie-rock band back in the day, noting eight years at the helm of a completely different genre of music. That experience, however, undoubtedly help create the passion and desire for audio escapism that we hear presented with Kyrie I.

The new track is part of an upcoming longer Requiem, and is decidedly unique in terms of the current classical scene – not least of all for its brief runtime and unrivalled sense of urgency. Not a moment is wasted, and as such, the arrangement captivates, and quickly leaves audiences keen to listen once more.

Single out September 10th.
