When accompanied by the visuals, the song takes on a notably more cinematic aura. The lyrics take much more of a front-seat when you listen to the audio alone – the listener is therein presented with an opportunity to attach their own memories and feelings to the journey, and as such connect with the emotions, both melancholic and optimistic, in a profound and powerful way.
