Copenhagen electronic-rock outfit Paul Wilkinson & THE STATION set the vibe and uplift beautifully, with their aptly-ethereal and melodically alluring new single Catch You Dreaming.
Feeling initially like a reimagined eighties classic, the track soon takes listeners on a refreshingly unexpected journey – through country-folk melodies, both soulful and raspy vocal layers, warming bass-work, and a fine balance between moments of high and low intensity.
Increasingly uplifting and defiantly near-euphoric as it progressively gathers momentum, Catch You Dreaming feels like an alternative dance-pop classic at the same time as a country-fusion contender. There’s character in the delivery, but also an immense degree of professionalism and skill.
