Featuring a hauntingly circus-like progression behind an intimate, whispered vocal-lead initially, Wrist introduces the LIL UGLY SISTER XXX sound with every bit of XXX implied.
The second verse brings a fresh voice, a twist in character, but ultimately we resolve back to an immense bass-line, distortion, space, simple repeats, and the familiarity of that opening vocal.
Increasingly creative, the two-minute thirty-eight release is far more impressive than first impressions might suggest. The production is loaded with identity; the sound is recognisable – new, fierce, interesting. The vocal is simple yet effective and again rooted in a bold degree of personality.
