Uniquely blending ethereal electro-pop production with acoustic guitars and honest vocals, Sean Waterman returns this season with an enchanting and heartfelt arrangement, for the conceptually poignant and melodically beautiful Faith Crisis.
Building through a sweeping and distinct alt-pop or trip hop-inspired arrangement, Faith Crisis follows a raw and genuine leading voice, through verses that unite pop, folk and RnB in an again unique fashion.
Sean Waterman is known for this kind of creativity, this kind of free and uninhibited expression, and the way Faith Crisis gathers momentum, leading towards a gorgeous crescendo of riffs, melodies, harmonies, echoes and rhythms, makes for a powerful and other-worldly addition to his repertoire.
The new song is both multi-layered and calming, euphoric and smooth, and instantly distinct for more than a few reasons. It also seems like the artwork, title, concept and stylistic approach all intertwine quite perfectly, which is rare these days, and impressively focused for escapism.
