Aptly-titled in its dreamy reach and expanding aura, Stars features dashes of retro funk and distortion in the mix, but largely employs the tingle-inducing synths and sounds from the dawn of effective, floor-filler EDM. It’s a smooth layout, not confronting nor jarring or industrial, just pure euphoric bliss and melody and momentum.
