Sonic Pulse Project The Map

-

Another new single from the upcoming album The Hourglass Effect sees the pop-production AI and modern songwriting expand into piano-ballad acoustics of intimacy and romance. Sonic Pulse Project delivers an uplifting pop crescendo of loving images and ideas, for the devoted and evocative The Map.

Slowly but surely expanding on its storytelling and soundscape alike, The Map features a classic pop vocal consistently building momentum and passion, as we’re guided by short lines of poetry both adoring and vague enough to be made your own.

Metaphors and personification bring the brightness required to feel mainstream ready, while the arrangement softly blends that initial piano line with a timeless mellow groove, synths and subtle strings, to work towards a huge celebration and finish that is the closing moments of oneness and romantic wonder. The concept is clever, caring, and the melody works well to create a familiar sense of satisfying progression alongside.

Sonic Pulse Project will be releasing their 5th album at the end of July, and The Map follows the juxtaposed upbeat playfulness of Symphony of Seconds to keep things fiercely versatile.
