No two episodes are the same, but always Danise presents with a calm and comforting, interested and easy going persona. The result is that guests clearly feel at ease, and thus transform podcast space into an authentic and unedited relaying of the highs and lows of their fight for justice and togetherness.

The Voices That Propel Us Podcast started back in August, and has been releasing episodes consistently in the weeks since. The first interview episode welcomed Monique Pham-Louie, a social innovation strategist and AmeriCrops alumni. The intricate detail, informative depth and educational value of this episode is second to none, and helps showcase the versatility and reach of this exploration of justice, action, and community.
Monique Pham-Louie is a laid-back and thoughtful guest, whose appreciation of the podcast and its desire to recognize the people who make a difference in the progressive world, is clear rom the outset. Her background is inspiring for its blending of social justice and ambition, action, career, and ultimately, community. As part of a major tech company, her insight is unrivalled, and this blending of building and serving, providing accessibility and opportunity, is incredibly valuable.
From being raised by a single mom, struggling with homelessness and other issues, to not only surviving but thriving as a modern leader and innovator, Monique Pham-Louie is fascinating to listen to, and this conversation is a must for anyone with goals or a desire to utilise their personal journey to make waves professionally.
Danise Sugita helps lead these conversations in a heartfelt but also curious, questioning fashion. With prompts like “How does your personal story shape your professional values?”, she welcomes a genuine deep-dive that’s uplifting, and effectively reminds us that anything is possible when we focus on mindset, unity, and opportunity.
