Northwest Groovement at Jimmy’s Liverpool – Sunday 22nd August

-

Stylishly blending soul, jazz, afrobeats, funk and hip hop with their uniquely passionate and powerful sound – Manchester’s NGUVU gear up to host and perform at their very own Northwest Groovement; their debut gig in Liverpool, and one you won’t want to miss out on.

Featuring an unmissable line-up, with NGUVU themselves alongside Armchair Captains, Liquid Beach and Charly Beth, the event promises to raise the roof and lift the mood of all who’ve missed the sweet escapism of live music.

Founded in 2017, NGUVU are one of the UK’s most sought-after live bands. Fronted by rapper and rhythm master Jamal Lewis-Service, with David Lloyd on bass, Ejaz Ibrahim on guitar, Wayne Brown on keys and backing vocals, Laetitia Alexandratos on tenor sax, Tayo Weekes on vocals and Matt Jones on vocals and guitar, the set-up promises the big band vibes and immersive volume our quiet streets have been craving.
