Sunrise in Jupiter - Take Me Home - Stereo Stickman

Sunrise in Jupiter Take Me Home

-

Great production lets the natural rock energy and vocal prowess of Sunrise in Jupiter shine beautifully, for the euphoric summer anthem Take Me Home.

Classic in setup but original in melody and topic, Take Me Home features a fine balance of familiar and unexpected lyrics. The voice is great, a little pop-punk-like in tone but passionate and bold when necessary, and the song effectively moves from something like electro-pop-rock to sheer classic rock for its chorus. That hook even notes a twist of something a little nostalgically Foo Fighters, before we meander into a more all-together-now alternative outburst – perhaps a hint of Jimmy Eat World during those vocal adlibs.

Then there’s the complex realism of the writing, an out-there concept with a clear degree of relatable humanity.

It’s an awesome style, in short, lush writing and a compelling and dynamic arrangement, from a band whom almost certainly could put on a stunning live show.
