Soziales Hetzwerk ein Liebeslied (Singleauskopplung)

-

One for our punk-pop and German speaking fans alike – Soziales Hetzwerk inject addictive melodies and anthem-like warmth into the indie rock scene with this infectious and emotive new anthem.

Offering lyrics as heartfelt and genuine as the embrace of the music implies, Ein Liebeslied talks of gratitude and appreciation for a significant other. It celebrates the rarity and power of true love, of loyalty, and the band more than carry the weight of the concept with likable and musically engaging performances every step of the way.

Featuring a well-placed and initially humble guitar solo, followed by a second one that effectively raises the roof, the single takes its time to immerse listeners – even weaving in a saxophone solo as the third hit of unexpected creativity during the instrumental outro. Following this, we get a stunning bit of freestyle jazz piano to top it all off – the entire arrangement consistently proving itself to be free from the confines of genre or predictable arrangements.

Great song-writing, in short – familiar and nostalgic in style but refreshing in progression and lyric. Well worth a few streams at volume this season.

“It is love that unites us
that welds us together in this dark time
it is an oath forever
and until the last day.”
