Brilliantly produced, riding the wave of the lyrics but stopping and starting creatively throughout the soundscape, Man On The Mood feels a little like a slept-on Sophie Ellis Bextor collab, only there’s a crisp and clean finish to the whole thing, and a brilliant level of artistry to the progression; all of which helps keep things firmly rooted amidst the contemporary scene. Nicely done.
