Pairing a strong soundscape with bold and bright vocals, Gold is incredibly easy to get onboard with, building up from mellow and soulful verses towards an ultimately uplifting, energising and infectious hook.
Short verse lines and superb musicianship keep things engaging every step of the way, and then we get the contrast as things jump into the chorus – an essential moment, taking things from good to great but also from unique to more accessible (not in a bad way at all).
