KREWZ - RUGER - Stereo Stickman

Melodically catchy from the outset, KREWZ blends the sound of the contemporary trap scene with dreamy production and an intimate, rhythmic vocal style that quickly impresses.

Blending rap and tuneful outpourings throughout the release, with strong production meeting the volume of the vocal for an immersive overall, RUGER keeps things delicate and intense at the same time. Heavy beats and stylish, romantically focused vocals contrast to effective results.

Structurally KREWZ meanders through various sections with confidence and a sort of fearless commitment to the subject matter.

The track almost the feel of a freestyle on occasion, switching up the flow repeatedly, veering off and away and back again intermittently. However, there’s also a clear sense of arrangement and intention to it all, and ultimately that melody and the downpour of synths lingers after listening – the calling card of any worthy alt-pop release.
