Throughout its post-four-minute lifespan, Divination brings in multiple moments of change and subtle redirection – an appropriately wave-like level of ups and downs, from calmness to chaos, the dreamland to the peak of reality. At the same time, the musicianship and clear attention to detail appear suggestive of an artist at the top of his game. There are even more than a few character traits and riffs that make the whole thing easily recognisable.
