Euplasia - Hallayoola - Stereo Stickman

Euplasia Hallayoola

Introducing the third single from his upcoming debut album You Wonder, UK doctor and singer-songwriter Euplasia redirects things towards childhood purity and the indie rock sounds of a simpler era, with the nostalgic, catchy and colourful Hallayoola.

Committed to the imaginative and carefree freedom of youth, Hallayoola takes a made-up word and makes a fun, energetic pop-rock single from it, with verses that quickly take you back to the playful days of confidence and purity. In short, this one is perfect for families with young children, as well as the grown-ups who still feel like big kids.

Stylistically distinct and different from his last single You Wonder, Hallayoola maintains the unmistakable, guy-next-door vocal style of Euplasia, and indeed the heartfelt, relatable and real-life songwriting, but it also makes sure to inject something a little rockier or even Britpop-like into the growing repertoire.

It’s a huge year for the NHS doctor and songwriter Euplasia, with a full-album release scheduled to light up each month song by song, and following the notable success of January’s You Wonder, Hallayoola makes for an uplifting follow-up; an awakening celebration of pure childhood joy.

A subtle contrast but a more than worthy and equally evocative addition to the You Wonder project of 2026. Hallayoola features another massive chorus, an earworm of a hook, which quickly leaves its mark; despite the unfamiliar nature of the song’s title. That ability to bridge the new and the comforting is always a key part of the Euplasia sound, and his realism as an artist continues to shine brightly.
