UK alt-rock band Dissolved Girl continue to blend the atmospheric and intense, with their fifth single release, the brilliantly complex and nostalgic Granite State.
Effectively intertwining something like old-school trip hop with a depth of both sound and topic, unsettling and clever lyrics and divinely delicate vocals make Granite State beautifully ambient and immersive. The song unites organic layers of guitars, drums and vocals, with something notably more cinematic and vast.
