Denkmensch - Take The Chance - Stereo Stickman

Denkmensch Take The Chance

-

An ever-unpredictable Denkmensch takes his creativity to emotive new realms with this latest release.

Driving with a familiar and soothing piano-lead, Take The Chance slowly introduces an upfront vocal and subtle rhythm, building and building to increase the weight and warmth of this unexpected ballad.

The song talks of a love lost years ago, reignited after 13 years of separation. It’s a rare story, tackled in a uniquely vague way here so as to allow the listener their own sense of meaning and relevance.

Sometimes love and life have different plans. Sometimes the one we dream of – our soul mate – can’t quite be reached. In this case, time proved the antidote or healer, and the song rises up in brightness to reveal this, as the singer declares ‘I will wait for you’, before exploring the reuniting and the immediate reconnection; despite so many years having passed.

An interesting, honest and musically simple piece, with a story that intrigues and connects in an appreciative way.
