MIF (Manchester International Festival) – Wednesday 14th July

-

At long last, the live scenes return to grace our world and light up the summer. Take the edge off in true Manchester fashion with the one and only MIF, this July 14th.

Featuring good vibes in the form of everything from Afrobeats to Midnight Electronica, from Fat City Founder Mark Rae, the Festival Square celebrations return, and as always – the event is FREE to attend.

With live sets from Afrodeutsche and DJ Paulette offering up her Records of Reflection, funk-rock from NGUVU, and reggae-infused hip hop from J.Chambers, the evening’s events are set to drown out the weight of the world with ease.

During the day, Sens Sagna & the Kajamor Family deliver Afrobeats, while INTI kick up some post-punk chaos and Julia Bardo promises a lively slice of singer-songwriter vibes. Also look forward to an MIF Sounds-supported DJ set from producer Hur̃guf, and dancefloor-classics twice running as DJ Pablo Blanquito hits the decks. Epic music, all afternoon, all free of charge.

In addition to the live tunes, food and drink will be available all day long across the Square, with setups from Heathcote&CoHonest CrustEat Well MCRStellar and JW Lees.
