Shreya Preeti leads with a smooth and soulful vocal on this alternative pop-RnB fusion single Junkyard. The track, or at least the live version, offers an organic musicality that’s refreshing to witness – the performance in full is of a supremely high quality, and there’s plenty of passion connected to the moment throughout.
For a producer of any age this is an easy to escape within collection. For one as young as twelve, I’m excited to hear what the future will bring from Acidic Base.

The best thing about the world’s best bands is that they belong to a genre that never really dies. Tougher Than You Thought have released a solid, pounding, polished EP that points to the future of music worth actually listening to.
Musically the single works well in setting the right kind of vibe for cosy nights by the fire – the gentle groove has a calming energy about it; set it playing & get to work wrapping presents or writing cards.
With each new listen to French 75, the more the details & the ambiance appeal – they sound increasingly original & enjoyable as you familiarise yourself with them, giving the song a touch of longevity; and drawing you in even further towards Alex Blocker as an artist.
There hasn’t been an RnB or soul singer with something quite so unique and genuine for a while now. Of course you never know what that unique trait will be until you hear it, but this is it; without a doubt.
I’ve been shaped directly from my personal experiences. I’ve been very fortunate to grow up in two different countries & cultures. I believe it makes me a more well rounded individual but a confused one at the same time.
As far as independent music goes, the dedication, skill, and sheer enjoyment of the craft doesn’t get much clearer and more enjoyable for an audience than this.
The whole thing feels like an easy classic, an alternative pop offering that takes influence from the best corners of musical vibrancy.
