Beautifully set-up, beautifully written, flawlessly performed. A lovely new single from an artist who rightfully shows no signs of slowing down.
The careful hints of emotion that Lily injects into her performances help really bring the lyrics alive, letting them connect on a profound and lasting level. This is the kind of escapism that embraces the darker parts of life and somehow turns them into a strangely warming arena of understanding.
Bringing together delicacy of concept and tone, Don’t Leave Me rises up from acoustic purity to full-band warmth throughout its captivating and uplifting four-minute journey – impressing all the more so with each new moment that passes.
Since 2006, Fynbo has released five original albums, an achievement that this latest project speaks volumes on behalf of. That level of skill, knowledge and authenticity can’t be faked, and generally takes a lot of dedication to reach.

We are talking impassioned vocals. We are talking some pretty meaty riffing on guitar. All wrapped up in some smart production, great songwriting and a healthy little shot of gently snarling punky attitude. But it’s got mood and heart, and tunes and thoughtful lyrics, too.

Leo Harmonay writes and performs because it’s simply a part of who he is – you can hear this, and you can feel it, throughout Naked Rivers and indeed throughout all of his music to date. Always an artist worthy of a listener’s trust.
Though it sounds like easy listening from the outside – calming folk vibes, plenty of optimism and beauty – there’s an element of depth to much of the writing that adds a subtle layer of intensity. A brilliantly unique artist and a really well captured new playlist. Absolutely worth discovering.
