The UK’s own Loaneski is a rapper & artist well established as a live performer, now pushing forwards at full speed with his third EP release – the creatively brilliant & lyrically honest Welcome To Babylon. A natural talent, and a project well worth a listen in full.
To even have it cross your mind to create an entire album of music following the lines of a timeless poem such as this is incredibly rare & creatively free in itself. Peter Cavallo’s passion for music & the arts is limitless. This project is yet another that’s something of a dream to lose yourself within for a while.
There’s plenty more to hear and realise than a single listen can really allow most of us. An impressive and genuinely original project.
The sound is his, dramatic guitars and drums, expressive structures. Meanwhile multiple impressive melodies and riffs help build a sense of variety and offer anthem after anthem of soulful soft rock.

Frans Krans keep high energy punk rock alive and well with this memorably titled album Moby Cock.They’re likely to win you over, whichever song you choose – though the album in full is where the real fun lies.

There’s something refreshingly artistic and satisfying about this approach to songwriting and indeed to hip hop – the genre doesn’t confine, but rather, it offers a runway; from which committed and capable artists can take off into any realm of music they choose.
