Pairing psychedlic electronic synths and electric gutiars, with a live drum track and heavy bass, Attuario delivers an Italian song that’s both ethereal and deeply human by nature.
The verse melody is simple, hypnotic, resolving quietly after each phrase. Then the chorus lifts the mood just slightly, the vocal not passionate (at least until the final, incredibly impassioned, unmissable moments) but reflective, and the instrumental intensifies to help further raise the pulse during those euphoric moments.
I love this, unusual but satisfying, dark and mystifying, with great songwriting, distinct vocals, and faultless production from Max Zanotti. Absolutely worth a listen for the alt-rock fans craving something real and unpredictable.
