Collaborating once again with vocalist Stephanie Rodriguez M., Ivano Bersini arranges a solo piano and harmonised vocal choir around In the peace of the sunset – a brief and beautiful ode to the imagery and shared warmth, the serenity and possibilities, imparted by the setting of the sun.
Performed and recorded at 432 Hz, on a Yamaha U3 acoustic piano, In the peace of the sunset was inspired by J.S Bach, and features Ivano Bersini’s original poetry or lyrics at the forefront.
This style has become synonymous with the artist’s name, and yet despite its familiarity in this setting, the listener can never quite anticipate what each new journey will provide. In this case, the work is less than 1.5 minutes in full, but proves wholly imaginative and all-consuming, as its melody and images lightly glide through the airwaves.
The piano part is wonderfully original, starting slowly and with some uncertainty, before establishing a joyful, celebratory progression, and brightening all the more so during the passionate peak of the track’s final moments.
