Back once again with a brand new project, Vyblektro’s EP Burn Again offers a fresh set of creative dance-pop tracks – not least of all the melodic and engaging groove of an emotive I Know You Remember.
Featuring a likable soundscape with plenty of space between colours and beats, the single delivers a familiar pop vocal lead that meanders through these personal lyrics in a genuine and stylish way.
Add to this a creative instrumental that continues to allow the piece to evolve – not to merely stand tall on the strength of the voice, as is the pop-dance way for the most part – and the track effectively relights that Vyblektro sense of artistic freedom and production identity.
Hypnotic and mellow, with some enjoyable synth warping for a solo-like feel towards the end, the track is all at once recognisable and unpredictable as it makes its way through a short yet satisfying two minutes thirty two.
