Honest emotional intent meets with a gradual, piano-led build-up through an increasingly detailed soundscape – introducing this passionate and melodically engaging new single from Noe and Bryce McCracken.
Superb production runs alongside surprisingly clean-cut vocals for Wrong When I’m Right – that voice has a certain accessibility about it, genuine and open, not soaked in effects despite the complexity of the mix surrounding it.
The balance works well to create a real feeling journey through emotional uncertainty and heartache, whilst also reinforcing the passion and rising energy of the story with a soundscape that increasingly envelops audiences in its multi-layered brightness and uplift.
As the vocal intensifies, it leans towards something of a pop-punk tone, and given the stylish blending of dance and pop found elsewhere, the completed single makes for a refreshing and fairly addictive new alternative anthem for the ups and downs of love.
