The lyrics and the tune dance gorgeously together, an interesting song from start to finish, with a bluesy twist that’s intoxicating and smart.
‘Where there’s Jack there’s Jill’ provides a familiar, memorable resolve, after a series of intriguing scenes and lines like ‘took that little pill and watched’, and it’s these small but sharp details, all working in unison for a perfect chemistry of sorts, that make this song such a cool and catchy pleasure to let play.
